Job description
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Inspector to carry out inspections of electrical works on assigned construction sites, ensuring all installations comply with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards. The successful candidate will support the site supervision team in monitoring contractor electrical works throughout the construction process to ensure compliance with project requirements.
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 4 years' experience in electrical inspection on construction sites.
- Good knowledge of low and medium voltage electrical installation standards.
- Experience reviewing electrical shop drawings and material submittals.
- KSA experience preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect electrical installations for compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
- Review contractor method statements and material submittals for electrical works.
- Witness testing and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment.
- Identify and record non-conformances, following up on corrective actions with the contractor.
- Maintain accurate inspection records, checklists and photographic documentation.
- Coordinate with the Resident Engineer and design team on electrical technical queries.
- Support the verification of electrical materials and equipment against approved specifications.
- Monitor contractor compliance with health and safety requirements during electrical works.
