Job description
We are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor that brings over 10 years of experience that can lead large-scale projects.
We are working with a well-established multidisciplinary engineering consultancy with over 35 years of industry experience, providing comprehensive architectural, civil, mechanical, and electrical engineering services. The company delivers end-to-end solutions from concept design and authority approvals to tender documentation, project management, and site supervision, supported by a team of highly qualified professionals committed to quality, innovation, and client satisfaction.
What you'll be doing:
- Prepare cost plans, estimates, BOQs, tender documents, and tender evaluations.
- Conduct quantity take-offs, cost control, and value engineering.
- Manage pre-contract procurement and provide commercial advice to clients.
- Review and certify interim valuations, variations, claims, and final accounts.
- Monitor project costs, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow.
- Provide commercial and contractual advice throughout the construction phase.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and project teams.
What you need:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- 10+ years of relevant QS experience, preferably within an engineering/consultancy environment.
- Strong pre- and post-contract experience.
- Proven experience in buildings, villas, residential developments, hotels, and/or mixed-use projects.
- Good knowledge of FIDIC and construction contracts.
- Strong measurement, cost management, negotiation, and reporting skills.
- RICS or equivalent professional membership is an advantage.
- UAE/GCC experience is preferred.
